Learning to Say F-It

adambernero

It can be easy to care too much about what others think or create pressure surrounding the expectations you feel that others have for you. Below, Alex Smith talks about learning to say F-it and how that has freed him up to stay in the moment and focus on the things that are truly important.

A few other places we can learn to say F-It:

-Getting caught up in what others are saying about us on social media

-Evaluation that is out of our control

-Getting too focused on our numbers and away from our process

-Having our off the field life quality of life determined by our on field performance that day. (Good Game = Good Night. Bad Game = Bad Night

-Insert your own personal ones here

It's worth taking some time to reflect on. Is there any noise in your life right now that is having a negative effect on you right now? If so, can you learn to say F-It and get back to the things that truly matter?... and the things that you can control.
